For his ‘Save the Bees’ project, street artist Louis Masai has taken to the London streets to raise awareness about the grave effects of honey bee’s colony collapse disorder. The project began in London after the artist took a trip to South Africa and learned about bees, but it has since spread to Bristol, Devon, Glastonbury, Croatia, New York, Miami, and New Orleans.
The project involves detailed honey bee murals on a variety of different buildings in the cities, many with the hashtag #SaveTheBees alongside it.
