It looks like a two-dimensional illustration, but what appears as a line drawing is in reality a container-like light fixture. The black exterior ribs define the space and the illuminated lower portions give the appearance that light was poured into the form.
Designed by Nissa Kinjalina, the lamp is constructed from a metal frame and translucent, matte acrylic. Rather than just using the forms as interior or exterior light fixtures, the designer also suggests that a light could double as a women’s handbag. The Kazakhstan-based designer calls it a light “which creates a lot of fantasies.”
