This CORE 500™ Digital Stethoscope, by industrial design firm Y Studios, was designed for healthcare technology company Eko Health. Y Studios, founded in San Francisco in 2001, explains:
“We took a very deep look at a classic archetype and identified critical areas where it could do better, much better. Together we crafted an instrument that fits high fidelity audio, a color circular display and a 3-lead ECG in a cast metal body that fits ergonomically in the hand in familiar ways.”
