The average toothbrush has around 2,500 bristles. This Samba Robotic Toothbrush has nearly 13,000, arrayed in a semicircle.
It’s made by oralcare company Curaprox. Designed for those with dexterity difficulties, the Samba allows users to brush their teeth without moving their hands.
A combination of low and high frequency oscillations, Curaprox says, drives the bristles “along every contour of your teeth.”
These run $300 a pop.
