A Swiss Mini Kitchen

“Compact, hyper-functional and space saving” is how Swiss manufacturer Kitchoo describes their K6 Pocket Kitchen. The diminutive K6 houses a sink, a two-burner induction stovetop, a refrigerator with an internal freezer unit, a storage drawer and a larger bottom drawer that can be optioned to hold either wastebins or a dishwasher.

Closed up, it resembles a small floor cabinet, and measures just 1270mm (50″) wide by 1060mm (41.7″) tall by 637mm (25.1″) deep. The overall height with the two top lids swung open (their hinges prevent them from hitting the wall, by the way) is 1595mm (62.8″).

Each lid features an automatic LED lighting strip that illuminates when you open the lid. And the top of the light strip has a little lip on it, where you can stick a phone or tablet to read or watch as you cook or clean. There’s an integrated power socket too, tucked away on the right side of the unit.

The price starts at €4,600 (USD $5,077), arrives with some assembly required, and can be ordered in an absurd 500-plus colors.
