A Wearable Mouse

This sure seems like vaporware, but a Berlin-based startup says they’ve developed a wearable computer mouse.

Both the startup and the product are called Clip Mouse. The device, which contains a gyroscope module, connects via Bluetooth. The developers say the device will read your hand and finger’s gestures, providing “all the classic options such as left-click, right-click, scrolling, previous/next page and double-click.”

A UX setback, in my opinion: When you want to start typing, you need to hit this button with your thumb to temporarily deactivate the mouse.

That alone would make the Clip Mouse unusuable for me. However, Kickstarter is a place of diverse desires, and at press time the €59 (USD $65) device had been successfully Kickstarted, with 20 days left to pledge.
