Minimalism as an art style is being employed by many to create fun, expressive illustrations. This next series featuring popular fairytale characters is a great example of minimalism done right.
Hailing from Costa Rica, Maria José Da Luz is an illustrator best known for drawing minimalist caricatures of iconic characters. In a series simply titled, “Classic Fairytale Characters”, Maria has blended each character in the foreground of just one color taken from them to the point where even villains like Ursula and the Evil Queen look adorable!
