In the 1960s, wallpapers were a much bigger deal. A film, “Perfect Match”, has surfaced showcasing the then-revolutionary technology in wallpaper manufacturing.
Each month, cinematic journalist British Pathé uploads archival footage. This film was shot at a factory in Perivale, ten miles west of London. This was a time when homeowners were obsessed with finding wallpapers that matched their curtains. With that in mind, “Perfect Match”, is a great way to look back at that time.
