Amor Enemigo: Rough and elegant artworks from traditional aesthetic boundaries

If your enemies are hungry, give them love;
and if they are thirsty, give them blood to drink.

This mantra greatly gave justice to the artwork we’re about to see below.

We recently have laid eyes on an all-new exhibition featuring the work of urban art expert Anton Unai. Featuring his collection, Amor Enemigo paintings, the Art Cologne / Diekunstagentin Gallery played host to the show last April.

He described the exhibit as “Rough and elegant artworks from traditional aesthetic boundaries. Meta-narratives, pop, science, subculture artifacts, religious iconography and a wide breadth of literary references from Therapeutic nihilism to anti Anti-art”

It was truly a sight to behold. But do not fret if you have not seen it – because you can catch a glimpse of the works on the artist’s profile and the gallery’s site.
