An Origami-Inspired Office Chair

This striking-looking Flip Flap Chair, by Ito Design Switzerland, was designed with origami as the inspiration.

The rigid panels and elastic hinges connecting them have been co-molded.

And yes, it can recline.

The chair is in production by office furniture manufacturer Itoki. Alas, it’s Japanese-market only.
