“Art Court” by Wood Street Walls’ artists in London

Wood Street Walls collaborates for the second time with Static for “Creative Courts” to help promote greater investment into grass roots and elite basketball in the United Kingdom. They have given an underused basketball court a new lease of life by painting the UK’s first “Art Court” in Walthamstow, East London.

Creative Courts promotes the positive impact basketball can have in urban communities. Projects like this give young Londoners new bright and dynamic places to play. Wood Street Walls hopes to play it’s part in pushing a positive agenda in the future of British Basketball funding from the consultation launched by UK Sport in 2018.
