Have you ever wondered how artists thought of such trivial things as brunch?
Designer Kyle Bean, in collaboration with food stylist Lucy-Ruth Hathway and photographer Aaron Tilley, created an illustrated photo series that delves deep into the minds of artists when it comes to food. Choosing brunch as their main topic, they re-imagine how known creatives such as Damien Hirst, Alexander Calder, and even Salvador Dali would arrange their brunch.

The “Artisan Brunch” consists of sculptural works that include balanced pancakes with toppings, bread slices ornamented with ketchup droppings, and a halved avocado in a cube. The photo series is a part of the 24th Kinfolk magazine issue. All their works are also posted on each of their Instagram accounts: @kylejbean, @aaron_tilley, and @lucyruthfood.
