It is said that artists make art from what’s around them. After a long winter that is showing no signs of slowing, artist Baku Maeda has decided to make art out of winter… well, out of ice. In this collaboration with the cold season Maeda turns ice into fashionable headgear.
The photos below show Maeda’s strange ice fashion glasses and a weird ice helmet thing. Neither safe, nor functional, this fashion is clearly a hilarious joke. The work seems a bit like a peace-offering to Old Man Winter in the form of a fashion collaboration. Make the cold stop!
