As a part of the digital age, everyday we find ourselves dealing with things that we cannot see like strings of information, sounds, etc. For one Berlin-based artist, visually showing the beauty of the unseen is the mission of his work.
Daniel Schulze came up with ‘For Those Who See,’ an installation that relies on a 7 x 7 grid of speakers to generate rings of fog that shoot upward. Having only a second or so, Schulze translates the digital signals into visual fog patterns. “These could be viewed as a whole picture or an individual fragment – inviting one to contemplate and wonder,” said Schulze describing his audience award-winning work at the Create10 Student Design Competition.
