Batman characters used in clever set of nesting dolls

Using characters like Batman and Robin, an artist has created a new take on the classic Russian nesting dolls. Inspired by the live-action Batman TV show from the 1960s, Andy Stattmiller has created a set of the dolls based on the characters from the show.

The characters are created using brightly colored acrylic paint instead of the gritty, dark colors used in today’s comics. The largest doll is Batman, followed by Robin, The Joker, Batgirl, The Riddler, Alfred, Catwoman, and then Penguin. The largest doll is 8 inches tall and the smallest is 0.75 inches tall.
