Sadly, there are no details on the piece—I would love to see how it’s made—but Egan does write: “As a designer, I’m interested in digital technology. I am fascinated by the intersection of craft with technology. What intrigues me is using the technology to manipulate material into unexpected and unexplained unique forms.” Nailed it with this one!
