NJRD is a new-to-the-scene design and lifestyle brand that’s been created by the experienced duo of Bernadotte & Kylberg and Nordic Nest. Scandinavian to its core, NJRD (pronounced Njord) focuses on design heritage, minimalism, functionality and detail. Its first collection includes tufted and woven rugs, tableware in four colors and soft throws made from recycled cotton. The palette and shapes used embrace nature in a playful yet graphic way, making them the perfect fit for our own surroundings.
“Looking beyond our Swedish borders was invaluable input, as the journey is about a legacy encompassing Scandinavia as a whole. While NJRD is still in its infancy, we think big and want everyone with a design product from NJRD in their home to feel that they own a unique piece of Scandinavian design,” says Oscar Kylberg of Bernadotte & Kylberg. “We are now looking forward to seeing how our throws and other design objects make homes around the world feel warm and welcoming.”
