At once plantlike and architectural, these glass sculptures by Lesley Green are fantastic.
The elements of the artist’s latest series of glass sculptures is inspired by architecture and illustration while taking a hint from modern design. Stained glass and tiles were used throughout with each piece featuring organic shapes that reflect the aesthetics found in cacti and agave plants. In an interview with Etsy, Green said, “I want to push the technical boundaries of stained glass, and love the challenge of figuring out how to solve problems, such as creating open spaces in a pattern.” Check out some of her sculptures below and find more on her Instagram and Etsy shop.
