Amyisla Mccombie is a recent graduate of University College Falmouth in the United Kingdom. She creates quirky illustrations of everyday scenarios using elements of collage with a 1960s children’s book feel.
Her illustrations are made up of everyday things: books, bikes, flowers and vegetables from a farmer’s market, but the end result is anything but mundane. Mccombie’s illustrations have an innocent and childlike perspective that imbues these domestic things with a sense of wonder and magic and helps us remember what it’s like to be a child.
