Concretely, These Gadgets Won't Work But I Want Them

Evidently, the main reason we buy gadgets is to use them and not for display, but this artist shatters that idea with his Concrete Collectibles.

Denver artist Eric Sahs of Concrete Collectibles makes replicas of various objects by molding them, then casting them in concrete. He then finishes them with terra cotta glazes and masonry stains to give them added dimension and depth.

It turns out that the prices for the concrete sculptures range from about $63 up to $400! It’s a bit high, but hey! It’s art!

Which would you want to buy?
