Creating the Watkins Glen International NASCAR Trophy

This video tells the story of the making of the trophy for The Watkins Glen International 2013 Cheez-It™ 355 at The Glen and the 2012 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race. Corning Museum glassmaker Eric Meek drew upon glassmaking traditions and fine craftsmanship to realize the modern, elegant form, which references both the raceway and the Finger Lakes region.
