Cubist-style portraits pay homage to Frida Kahlo, Keith Haring, and Dali

Artist Miguel Ángel Belinchón began as a practitioner of photorealism but by 2016, he tastes had transitioned into something more Cubism-inspired.

The Spanish artist also known as “Belin” elongates his subjects’ necks and segments their faces to mimic a style normally seen in Picasso’s works. Through his paintings, Belin pays homage to painters like Frida Kahlo, Keith Haring, and Dali.

Check out some of his new Cubist works below and find more more of stylistic mash-ups on his website and Instagram.
