Do you remember Japanese photographer Takashi Kitajima and his magical photo series ‘Boka’ where he plays with city lights out of focus? Well, he is still very much into that, though, since then, he has started a whole new series called ‘Glass Porthole.’ In his new series the artist experiments with cityscapes, neatly focusing them inside of a magnifying glass.
Computer software engineer by day and photographer by night, Kitajima has created yet another stunning series of urban photography, brilliantly playing with the city lights and emphasizing the features of the city in a most peculiar way.
