eBoy is the leading Berlin-based pixel art team made up of Kai Vermehr, Steffen Sauerteig and Svend Smital. Their insanely detailed 8-bit illustrations draw from contemporary pop culture, old school Nintendo video games and urban lifestyle, presented in three-dimensional isometric pixels.
Pixorama is their ongoing series of illustrated cityscapes from a bird’s eye view. So far, they have created their own versions of London, New York, Paris, LA, Berlin and more. Their art is majorly ambitious in scale and complexity, but not without a cheeky sense of retro humor.
