Bovey Lee is a calligrapher turned paper artist who cuts intensely detailed scenes using a razor. Each composition is cut into Chinese rice-paper. And if you have never held rice paper before, it is about as fragile and light as a tissue.
Lee’s illustrative narratives range in theme showing underwater scenes, theme parks, and busy highway roads. Lee was born in Hong-Kong and now lives in Pittsburg, PA. You can see a bunch more paper-cut art here!
