Cillian McMinn is the creator of Metro Galactic; a new Metro system design that connects all of the constellations in our galaxy.

Belfast based product designer Cillian McMinn has created an incredibly intricate Metro Map, that reimagines our galaxy as a metro system, with each of it’s constellations representing a metro station. With over 90 constellations, spread amongst 9 different metro lines, the map has been drafted with perfect accuracy, with each station appearing where it lies in the night’s sky.
McMinn tells us, “My goal here was to create an image of the night’s sky like no other, to envision the solar system in an entirely new way.”
The result was a minimalist and intriguing design, that totally reimagines something old and tired, and gives it a futuristic upgrade.
