1972 was a good year for entertaining films, and this entry, Evil Roy Slade, is just that, being one of the funniest films ever. A Western spoof starring the inimitable John Astin, late of The Addams Family, it also features Mickey Rooney, Henry Gibson, and other comedy talents of the time.

John Astin actually made two Western comedies, the latter one of the most memorable films ever, with its Molly-be-damned, but I’ll save that one for later.
