Filmmakers Alex Gorosh and Wylie Overstreet expressed their desires to see the solar system up close and to scale by building a model in the Black Rock Desert in Nevada. With the use of LED-lit glass spheres and GPS calculations, the duo were able to get the solar system just right

The resulting short film, To Scale, takes place at nighttime when Gorosh and Overstreet climbed a nearby mountain to record a time-lapse accurately depicting the orbitals paths of each planet.
