Aaskash Nihalani’s art can typically be seen as graffiti on the walls and buildings of New York City, but in his latest work he has created a series that literally draws the viewers into the graffiti.
His series entitled ‘Landline’ creates optical illusions that connect people together by “skewering” them with geometric shapes made out of neon tape. The illusion makes the lines look as if they impale the people against the walls and in some instances, yoke them to other impaled people.
