Gantri Launches a New Batch of Sustainable Lighting Designs from Emerging Designers

These collections all launched under their Independent Creator Release Initiative, a biannual showcase that allows easier access to lighting designs by independent designers. As Gantri puts it, this program was devised as “an alternative to trade shows that are inaccessible to the everyday consumer,” highlighting new voices in design while giving customers an opportunity to buy pieces from up and coming designers more immediately.

Gantri works with creators to produce each lighting piece through collaboration with their in-house engineering and creative teams. Designers and engineers work together not only to bring their visions to life, but further refine designs to expertly and more sustainably utilize materials and fabrication methods.

As with all of the lighting designs released through Gantri, each piece within this collection is 3D printed using a plant-based polymer that is 100% biodegradable. The lamps are produced in-house using the company’s own made-to-order manufacturing line. CEO Ian Yang explains that these production methods allow Gantri to offer up products with a level of “quality, variety, and pricepoints…unparalleled within the consumer design space.”
