Assembly Line Design Center is a brick and mortar store located in Brooklyn’s Boerum Hill designed by General Assembly. The launch of the storefront marks General Assembly’s ten-year anniversary since its founding in 2011, and have grown to become one of the most highly-regarded interior design and architecture firms in North America.

The store offers a collection of furniture, lighting, decor, and objects from the studio’s favorite designers, which include familiar names such as In Common With, Vonnegut Kraft, Fort Standard, and Steven Bukowski. In contrast with other retailers, the space also features architectural materials and finishes one might need when undertaking a renovation.
The space will also be used to host intimate gatherings by way of design talks, collection launches, and celebratory dinners. As such, the showroom was designed more so as a cozy apartment versus that of a storefront. The living and bedroom environments will rotate with each season to showcase new design options and accents.
