Geometry and color come together fantastically in Lui Ferreyra portraits

Lui Ferreyra is out with a series of colorful portraits formed with nothing but geometry.

The Denver-based artist spent the last 10 years mastering the technique of breaking down faces, hands, and landscapes into colored chunks of geometry. There’s an almost digital vibe to the portraits, which are inspired by works from artists like Chuck Close and Egon Schiele, pioneers of pointillism and geometry.

Listen beautiful relax classics on our Youtube channel.

Here’s a collection of his drawings and sketches. Check ’em out and find more of his work on Instagram and at William Havu Gallery.
