GIF-friendly music video dreams up a world of lo-fi surrealism

Liverpool experimental indie pop trio Stealing Sheep has collaborated director Ewan Jones Morris for their new music video ‘Deadlock.’ The green-screened clip is an artful rendering of lo-fi surrealism and animation in which three band members interact with geometrical shapes, grid patterns and objects, as well as engage in weird scenarios.

The surreal, disorienting visuals perfectly match the off-kilter vibes of the track. The moments also work fine as cool little GIFs that you can see below. Check out more of Morris’ works here. Stealing Sheep’s new album ‘Not Real’ is out digitally now and physically on Heavenly Recordings.
