Last week, Russian upstart turned fashion insider Gosha Rubchinskiy presented his latest collection in St. Petersburg, the city which birthed 80s and 90s Russian rave subculture. Russian creative platform INRUSSIA published a book accompanying the rave inspired show: a visual guide to the movement and it’s participants. Originally published by INRUSSIA is an essay from that book by UC Berkeley anthropology professor Alexei Yurchak. "Gagarin and the Rave Kids” leads us through the movement with painstaking detail.
