Jordan Bear, Assistant Professor of Art History, University of Toronto, presents multiple examples of Photo-Diagrams, or photographs that have been turned into photo illustrations in order to inform viewers about events that a photographer was not present to capture. This lecture is presented as part of the Truth, Lies, and Photographs symposium in conjunction with the exhibition Faking It: Manipulated Photography before Photoshop.
