Italian street artist critiques societal issues with sarcasm and humor

Using street art to discuss today’s hotly debated topics from climate change to capitalism, Blu proves himself to be a straight-edge artist.

With a hint of sarcasm to top them off, the street artist creates some beautifully colorful pieces that critique controversial societal issues. In 2016, Blu’s murals spoke out for housing problems in the Celadina district of Bergamo, Italy. Titled, “A House for Everyone,” the piece depicts cramped residents covered in rainbow hues while a select few colorless people look on. Check out some of his street art below and find more on his blog.
