Seven Thai students facing financial difficulties have been given an amazing opportunity of staying at a fully functional co-living space. The “space scholarship” has been given out by Fabrica, an Italy-based research center, to give less fortunate students the chance to focus on their studies without worrying about their living arrangements.
In collaboration with AP Public Company Limited, a property developer in Thailand, Fabrica designed a condominium unit that encourages students to communicate, be independent and grow a sense of responsibility.
All the components of the unit are designed to have dual purposes. It boasts furniture that can both be used as a tool for studying and engaging with other inhabitants of the unit. It also features hidden storage systems, adjustable furniture, bunk beds, sitting areas, and a kitchen – all fitted with maximizing space in mind.
