Charles De Meyer was given a very simple word to use as inspiration when asked to create the music video for ‘Stunts.’ The mission brief sent to him contained only one word… Acid. Needless to say, the video comes with a warning.
Charles De Meyer is kid brother to front man Francois De Meyer of the dance band Raveyards, so obviously they’ve worked together before. In fact, their last collaboration ended in a Young Directors Award for Best European Music Video. Inspired by the heightened visuals and colors associated with LSD, Charles used several techniques such as multiple exposure photography, light shows and high quality video projection to create the stunning visual effects of the video. It may surprise you to note that very few post effects were used in its making. So enjoy, but watch responsibly.
