Metallic bouquets made from discarded cutlery by Ann Carrington

Ann Carrington creates ornate wall-hung sculptures up-cycled from everyday objects.

After gathering hundreds of spoons, knives, and forks, Carrington assembles intricate metallic bouquets that effectively repurpose the household items we’ve grown accustomed to. The assemblages make one wonder if they aren’t just real flowers given a metallic polish. Carrington’s solo exhibition Pop Goes The Weasel! included a series of these sculptures at the Royal College of Art in London.
