This building was developed by Karim Rashid as a modern mix-use space for the future of Manhattan, New York. The bottom floor is reserved for commercial space with sleek modern apartments above. This building is apart of an expanding urban project currently being developed by HAP near Central Park.
From the outside this building looks like a young modern party place and the interior appears right out of the Jetson’s cartoon. The weblike decorative exterior structure transcends surface and is boldly integrated into the living space. The interior architecture sets the stage for a playful contemporary aesthetic featuring fun patterns and bright colors.
