Here is a completely absurd product that makes me really happy just knowing it is in production. French designer Sascha Nordmeyer has created the HyperLip for no other reason than for entertainment. Artecnica, the brand manufacturing HyperLip, explains, “Conceived for people who are just looking for a bit of fun, the prosthesis is a rigid food-safe apparatus that forces a facial expression onto its wearer.”
The expression, seen in the images below, is a tooth-baring grimace that looks both painful and fun. The best part about this product is the promotional portraits. The pictures could have been an art piece in themselves. In fact, HyperLip will be apart of a traveling exhibition called Photography Playground where visitors can get their portraits taken with the face altering accessory.
