OTAP Tables + Benches Appreciate Simple Essentialism

We’ll say it time and time again: (sometimes) less is more. OTAP is a small collection of tables and benches first presented at Maison&Objet that are high-quality and simple in the best ways. Brought to life for Cruso by cross-disciplinary designer Julien Renault, the pieces are versatile and can be used on their own or in a group, in both public and residential spaces. Four sizes and seven color options invite you to play and experiment with combinations that provide storage or a place to sit.

Renault’s systemic, objective, and rational approach to design carries over into the production process of OTAP. With the goal of optimizing and simplifying, the tables and benches are built with a limited amount of machined parts and mass-stained wood panels (Valchromat). Made in Belgium, OTAP tables and benches are flat-packed for delivery and can be assembled easily using self-tightening connectors.
