Phone store gets fashionable in slick rebranding project

Doctor Manzana is a mobile phone store in Valencia, Spain. They recently contracted design firm Masquespacio to redesign their sales and service store interior and rebrand their packaging. Doctor Manzana wanted visual themes that wouldn’t and couldn’t be ignored.

Toward that end, Masquespacio’s lead designer, Ana Milena Hernández Palacios, used a saturated turquoise green as the focus of four colors, a hue common to hospitals in Spain and a visual reference to the ‘Doctor’ in the stores name. Masquespacio also used a 54-degree triangle, common in touch-screens, which is repeated throughout the decor and packaging. Their new brand was made homogenous throughout their entire image including packaging, printed material and even some trendy graphic T-shirts.
