Photographs capture a unique kind of train trip in Canada

In a series of photographs, Jeff Friesen takes viewers on a trip through Canada which is seemingly by train. However, things aren’t always as they appear.

“I wanted to take a coast-to-coast journey across Canada in a way that had never been seen before. To give a fresh perspective to the journey I decided to take the train. It’s not just any train, but rather the legendary 1959 passenger train that was first to be called ‘The Canadian’. The train has an unexpected feature: I carry the train rather than it carrying me. The train is only 2-inches tall,” he wrote.
