Plants grow from the faces of birds in odd sculpture series

This appears to be a dada masquerade for birds. They do not look panicked. In fact, the headless perched animals seem to be enjoying themselves in their unique fashion. Karley Feaver uses birds that have died of natural causes to create her weird taxidermy art.

The birds Feaver features are exotic, showing off bright colors and sometimes in action poses. Her animals wear obscure headdresses that look like vegetation growing like parasites off the faces of the poor creatures. What is most strange, though, is that there is a beauty in the assumed suffering and destruction of the elegant flying creatures.
