Building on the success of its first new camera release in a decade, Polaroid Originals has added a new model to its family of analog cameras. The Polaroid OneStep+ is an instant analog camera that takes advantage of digital technology to create surprising effects.

Inspired by the classic 1977 OneStep, this enhanced model has two lenses that allow you to toggle between standard and portrait mode. When shooting with the portrait lens, you can get unparalleled results and move as close as 12 inches from your subject. The camera is compatible with both 600 and Polaroid’s new i-Type film, and charges via USB.

What makes the Polaroid OneStep+ truly unique is when it connects with the Polaroid Originals app via Bluetooth. From the app, it’s possible to unlock the full functionality of the instant camera. There are different triggering options, such a self-timer, remote trigger, and noise trigger, as well as a host of other settings.

When placed in manual mode, photographers can manipulate the camera’s aperture, shutter speed, flash intensity, and photo ejection. Creative light painting and double exposure modes give photographers even more creative options when expressing their artistic vision on film.

The OneStep+ retails for $159.99 on its own, or $199 in a starter kit that includes three packs of i-Type film.

The Polaroid OneStep+ keeps a vintage design while incorporating new technology for more versatility.

The Bluetooth-enabled instant camera connects to an app that unlocks a slew of extra functions.
