PPPattern.it Is The First Digital Store Dedicated To Pattern

Those who loves patterns raise their hands. We know it, many of you. And we know what happens to you as your eyes land on them. Don’t worry, we understand that feeling!
For you – and for us – pattern addicted now there’s PPPattern.it, the first digital store dedicated to the world of Italian serial creativity. The project was launched on the occasion of Torino Graphic Days and is the result of the collaboration with Renato Fontana – the founder of the platform and creativity conference Italianism – and creative director Andrea Cadorin with the digital production and printing expertise of Printaly.

40 young and creative people made 80 different patterns, working on a wide range of themes such as optical style, vintage texture; from playful subjects that recall childhood to geometric textures that, thanks to augmented reality, are transformed into 3D videogames. But also abstract research, neo-expressionism, female figures and everything that refers to the world of botany and zoology.
The result is a real paradise for pattern addicted that on PPPattern.it can play around with the purchase, choosing between traditional and adhesive wallpapers, A5 notebooks, gift cards and PVC lampshades. Online soon also note pads, decorative adhesive tapes, weekly planner and cachepots.

What do the authors of the patterns have in common? Apart from being all under 35, being the spokesman of Italian creativity, which has always been the expression and wealth of our country. The artists involved worked on patterns and their variations, telling with their own style a piece of the world, a life experience, a current topic, crossing the past, the present and the future.

“Pop, ready-made, polyhedric, customizable and with personality: these ones are the key points of PPPattern” – said Renato Fontano, the CEO and art director of the platform – “We are convinced that everyone can change their life and work environment with small decorative signs, but very distinctive. To make it, there are some brilliant Italian talents who provide their creativity, which is usually expressed in other fields and that is applied here in the making of a pattern. And, since at the base of everything there is also fun and healthy irony, we chose the claim “Italian creatives on the wall.”

Here’s the crew of creatives that worked at PPPattern.it:
