Realistic food drawings look good enough to eat

Some works of art look good enough to eat. In CJ Hendry’s series ’50 Foods in 50 Days,’ she drew a strikingly realistic dish each day posting her creations that ranged from french fries to octopus to sausages. All the pen-drawn pictures have a similar layout — the food placed on a simple, circular Hermes plate.

The series was shown in a gallery in March where all of them were purchased quickly due to Hendry’s social media success. On Instagram, the artist has over 200,000 followers.
