This futuristic lounge chair by Tadao Ando is an invitation for people to relax and dream. Made from a single sheet of curved plywood, it’s no surprise that the ‘Dream Chair’ finds its inspiration in the minimalist works of Hans J. Wegner.
This collaboration with Carl Hansen & Son is Ando’s first mass production piece. It’s a crossover of Danish craftsmanship, Japanese design traditions and Scandinavian style. The design is available in oak or American walnut, with or without upholstery and an adjustable neck cushion.
