Who says good old rocking chairs can’t be modernized? – Not Italian designer Giancarlo Cutello. The Ivetta is his new chair and it’s rocking modern furniture design.
Make no mistake, Ivetta is as sturdy as can be thanks to its steamed, whitened beech structure. It offers excellent back support, and natural felt upholstery 100% Italian manufacture. The visual aesthetic is quirky and modern with a relationship to fashion as a result of the felt fabric fastened with ‘buttons’ on each side. Despite its elementary geometry, the Ivetta proves to be a comfortable seating design and makes any room fun for only $400.
